Choice

Materials used:

  • Drift wood, from a Wyoming river shore
  • Painted plaster cast of my face
  • Argillite green stones, Montana
  • Peacock feathers, Montana

For this backstory, I borrow some words from Neale Donald Walsch:

“...the time has come to get clear about who you are and what you choose. There come moments in every person's life when a decision is necessary. A big decision. A major choice. Such a time is now.

What you get to choose today is who you are and who you choose to be, and what you wish to experience in your life. Remember, not to decide is to decide.”

We all may find ourselves in the situation of BIG choice-making. It is my hope that this Mask Artistry creation will remind you, encourage you, and gently nudge you forward to consider making the commitment to that CHOICE….for the betterment of yourself, your community, or your world.

May you choose well.
