This Mask Artistry creation is very much influenced by my love of African masks. Entitled “Matoucan’s Joy”, this mask honors one of my spirit teachers, an ancient African pygmy whose name is Matoucan. This spritely spirit uses dance as a method of joyful healing in my shamanic journeys.
